This option caters for members who want capital stability and higher returns than the Cash Enhanced option over the medium term. It invests in a wide range of global bonds including government and non-government bonds, and high-yield loans. The international component is mostly hedged into Australian dollars to reduce the impact of currency movements.
This option aims to:
provide a positive return modestly higher than the Cash Enhanced option; and
To outperform the weighted average return from the Bloomberg AusBond Composite Bond Index (50%) and the Barclays Capital Global Aggregate Index (Hedged into Australian dollars) (50%) after tax and fees over rolling 3 years
Fixed Interest is suitable for investors with an investment timeframe of three years.
